Beatriz Fedrizzi PhD is a retired professor and researches landscape architecture. She started her career at Alnarp University in Sweden and went on to continue her research in Kenya Africa, Porto Alegre, Brazil, and Cal Poly/UC Davis in California. She was a professor for 20 years in Brazil teaching undergrad students to defend their PhD student’s thesis. Her studies are in the areas of the psychology of open spaces and how people interact with the world around them, this way her design turns an open space into a living space.

After years of hard work and research, Beatriz decided to retire in Davis, California, and now serves the surrounding areas in northern California to do what she loves the most, create people-centered spaces.
